Can't help thinking English people wanting an independent Scotland are frankly verging on imbecilic, unless it is just joking on a forum to wind up Scots known to be tuned in. It would greatly diminish the UK and would mean the UK having much less chance of ever leaving the EU.

That's why I wanted an independent Scotland.

The more countries in Europe in the EU the better.
