I seriously doubt Scottish people would be happy to have loads of economic refugees stuck at it's borders and would want to be come part of the Common Travel Area like Ireland and the rUK.

But...

Scotland has a population shortage as anyone with an ounce of talent + scooterscot buggers off as soon as they can. The SNP wants more immigration.

One DevoMax option is to allow the Scottish government to grant 5 year visas to workers who will be restricted to living and working in Scotland. IIRC some other countries restrict visas to undesirable territories.

They can't, part of the Edinburgh agreement says they need to act in the best interest of Scotland. Can't believe Cameron signed it, he must have thought it was never going to be triggered.

The Edinburgh agreement sets out the terms of the referendum, in particular that the referendum itself should be conducted fairly. There's nothing in it that says what happens once a result is given. If anyone knew for definite what happens after the result, we wouldn't be having these conversations...

And, being serious for a moment, I don't think it will.

Couple of 'yes' campaigners I know have been standing outside counting badges (not very scientific, I know) and trying to count people talking to the campaign tables outside and they reckon it's about 50/50, and this place is a sea of 'Yes' posters and flags, which outnumber 'No' by probably 100-1.
