I'm sure most of us have heard of PlanGrid (which I think is the best) but up until last week when a friend told me about it I knew nothing of ConstructionHelper. The total surface calculations really help. Lastly, a co-worker put me on to Joist. This one essentially eliminated the use of pen and paper when making estimates and invoices, everything was done via the website or the app.

What are some apps or websites you use to make your life easier?
Favourite app: The one that produces invoices.

Favourite web page: right at the moment the one with the ban button.

What makes you think that IPSE won't fight IR35 any more?

A good app for construction is simcity, or even civ v. although the unit density in civ v is a bit wonky, at least its now multi user.
an app for dealing with ISIS might be spec ops III
and if you want to fly a plane, try flight sim 5

Bloody Germans have got the jump on the PCG lot and I bet they are more efficient too? They wouldn't have chickened out on lobbying against IR35 with Frau Merkel, and changed their name using our money Spunked up against London Wall either...

    Good question.

    "IT Nerds"
    "Engineers"
    simple "IT"
