My neighbour opposite used to work for a major bank and was peed off with managements attitude - she thought they needed to be chilled out, so she put lavender oil in the aircon intake.

How far is it from the desks? You could get a cheap long lasting alarm clock, and set it off some point during the working day. You cannot put and forget decomposable stuff, but you can just normally forget to collect your alarm clock on the last day
