Depressingly I would say I'm in it for the money, although I hardly fell into it (studied Business Information Systems at Uni) so there had to be an interest there somewhere.

I have the occasional days of satisfaction. primarily when I see the word "Approved" to any sort of deliverable.

Lots of factors though right....particular project, people you work with etc. Working with a team who are driven but social is a key enjoyment factor...for me anyway!

All about the cash for me and closely geared up to FI meaning I can pack it in IF I really want to.
Struggling to find anything of interest but that may say more about me than the work.
Need a break and that starts this week for 2 months minimum, need to get my spring back.

I am only it for the money now. For the first 5 years or so I actually quite enjoyed the job and the challenge now I just do whats expected and get my pay in the bank.

I am just using it for the money now to get me to my next step in life. I would not be able to earn as much doing anything else I can think of I would be vaguely interested in and like other people have said in any job it gets boring eventually!

I see my work as a facilitator, enabling us to have a lovely home, nice holidays, new motorbikes, great evenings out and lend my daughter money to get her own home, put my son through Uni.

All these things would be much reduced if I wasn't in banking IT.
