ok... so I have taken the name out. Point is that it was a warning... in case anyone else is affected. Read into it what you want... If trying to be helpful equates to being a moaning minnie then that is your opinion and you after all your posts(!) are entilted to it.
By the way haven't a clue who the other person was. so Yes Coincidence!

First davey101 in general moaning about a company, quoting names of management, etc. Now rowly65 doing the same.
Both first time posters to the board?
Coincidence?

Performance Contracting Limited - WARNING
This is for information for anyone who may have a contract with or dealing with a company called Performance Contracting Limited. They call themselves an offshore fund manager and have contractors enlisted as pseudo employees. This is a warning to say that they seem to have stopped answering emails, and phones and are not processing monies that have arrived in their coffers to be passed on to the contractors on their books.
The billing email address no longer exists and no information has been passed on to their "employees" as to any changes of process. Advice is to stop your agency/employee sending any monies to them, unless you hear from them or you may never see the money passed on to your account.
They had an office in Croydon and a UK firm name of Kingswood Partnership.
Turns out that the person running the business from the uk side - has done a runner. He has been forging signatures from a company that has since been dissolved. Note that this company originally advertised on Jobserve and was originally able to supply all the correct paperwork.
So if you are dealing with any company that you are unsure about the advice is to check them up to see if they still are legit. If they cease to trade and you are not notified it is possible that your agency will continue to send funds into some rogue's pocket. Then suddenly when you thought everything was going swimmingly for a number of months and you become complacent they disappear with your last monthly sum.Last edited by rowly65; 25 July 2006, 10:28.Tags: None
