- Does the client mandate a number of hours per day. Confusingly clients often state something like "a Professional Working Day between 9 and 5'?
- The Right of Substitution. i.e. can you, in theory, replace yourself with another contractor.
- What equipment are you expected to provide and pay for? Its common for clients to expect you use your own mobile phone and pay for calls yourself.
- Can you claim travel expenses?
- Is getting paid dependent on getting your timesheet signed. Usually this is the case thus rendering the contract useless.
- Do timesheets have to be submitted within a period of time after completing the work?
