It means that when they talk about a rate, for what I do, they are in the range 28-32 ph when they should be in the range 35-40.

No S3 agency has ever told me a job will pay more than 32 (with a low of 27.50), yet no other agency flinches when I ask for 35 plus.

Unfortunately, they have a couple of clients who are recruiting at the moment that no-one else seems to have an 'in' with. But I'm not that desperate (yet!)

Is it possible to get a full list of all members og S3 Group?

Does the group have a web page?

I have never registered with them but I have still received calls from them promising to send me job specs and then sniffing around for sales leads - of course the promised job specs never arrive.

They are indeed part of S3 and as I have registered with other S3 agencies in the past, I assume that this is how RealIT got my details. I would say contact them, but be very careful - be sure you know the standard tricks that they are likely to get up to.

The S3 agencies have bad reputations, but alot of it depends on who you deal with. For example, in the city I work in, I have had good experiences with a guy from Computer Futures, but very bad ones with Progressive.

    YMMV

Not bad, they recieve invoices weekly and pay pretty fast. I know of instances where they ahve ripped off newbies but most do that given the chance
