I've got hooks into a major insurance co, and they currently need a Java Dev. Here is the spec. If any of you are interested then you'll be going through my Ltd, back to back, that's the deal. Rate circa 420p/d.

Spec (which is currently being advertised):
Java Developer needed for leading Insurer in the City. The Java Development team provides support for applications and whilst this is a development role there will be a month of support to start with until the person gets used to the systems and processes
There will be a lot of development work related to the integration of different systems as well as contributing to the creation of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and an Enterprise Service Bus.
