am beating agents off with a stick at the moment. but... my specialism's are defence and project management, rather than technology skills. I get the impression that the number of technical roles are lower than they were before Christmas.

Depends what you are looking for, but I work in J2ee/.NET/Web application server support. It looks very quiet and not much there compared to when I looked a fews back.
I always search for all jobs to get the new total posted that day....even though numbers are comparable..there seems to be loads of duplicates by the same agency using different locations
