I'm not a developer however do have some SP project experience and I have quite a few SharePoint development roles coming into the inbox each day.

The number of roles has increased due to SP2010 being released last year and SP2003 going EoL next year so there are a few migration projects around.

.Net is big over here. I don't know how well you would be received by the uk market if you have been abroad for a few years? Depends what you have been doing and which companies etc.

Current IT job market in the UK?

    Hi Guys

I used to be a contractor in the Uk. I left the UK in 2009 now i am kind of planning to get back on board as I see the number of job ads in my inbox. I would like to know if these job ads are for real. If I really can get a contract in .NET/Sharepoint over there these days. I look forward to hearing from you folks

    Regards
