If they can't come up with something realistic then you should start looking for a new job. Ignore the ridiculous restraint of trade in your contract. They can't expect to pay you a small retainer on a part time contract and bind you over like that, they are taking the piss.
Get straight on itjobswatch and see what you're worth then check out jobserve and see if there is anything you can go for.
