Sensible idea and worth floating as Company A may well find it easier than finding someone else for a small piece of work.

Use your right of substitution and start looking for someone else to either do one or start one of the contracts as a subcontractor for you.

    Switching Contract Early

Here's the issue. I have started a very short contract this week with company A through agency A till mid July, 1week notice either way. Not actually done any wok as yet as they have to put through I'd etc, but I have been in.

I have scoped the work and I guess it can be done very quickly.

I have just been offered a 14 week one at company b at a great rate.

But I've never been in this situation. I don't want to burn bridges, etc and given all a heads up. I believe after this short term it will be long time if any of further work.

I already missed our on company b before, both clients are big companies who I do want to work for.

If I was in a longer one currently I'd be okay to stay.

Rates are about the same, pretty decent. Same town.

    What would you do?
I really want company b, the contract is drafted and is definatley mine.

Working...
