Did it years ago and I'm not a tester. The company I worked for at the time paid. (It was actually one of the only external courses I've been sent on.)

I personally think it's a waste of time even for testers particularly if they have a CS degree. The exam I did was multiple guess and was the theory of testing. The experienced testers in the class room raised some interesting points about how certain things weren't practical.

The best way of learning what a tester does is by being taken under their wing (so to speak) and getting them to explain what they are doing, plus why and how they do it.

BTW: Your website doesn't have your limited companies registered office address on it, and country i.e. England and Wales, Scotland where the company is registered. This breaches the Companies Act 2006

ISEB Foundation Software Testing

I am not a tester, and have no intention of applying for testing jobs, however the area I specialising has a lot of interaction with Testers and Test Managers, so I was wondering if it would be worth while trying to go for this so I have a bit more of an understanding of what their requirements are.

Is it a hard exam, is it possible to pass without in depth experience of testing?
