You will not be competing with this experienced contractor if you use them. Go on, fill yer boots!

I used them for 18 months in London up till last year. Always paid on time, always good - there standard contract needs some rewriting as it's not very IR35 friendly, but they'll let you amend ok.
Never had any complaints.

Allegis
Allegis have a nasty clause (well hidden) in their contracts in that they can terminate the contract at any time without notice. They use this get-out in order to win over clients from other agencies.Originally posted by tacpotI contracted through Allegis for 9 months, and found them to be very good. I would recommend them as one of the better agencies.

Dont want to keep banging on about this bunch, but contract recieved, it was totally rubbish in terms of IR35, I asked about rewriting the clauses and the guys went away to the end client with a 9 point questionaire, substitution, moo, etc etc and they have now come back with a very good contract.
So far these boys have been EXCELLENT, however lets see what happens when I start invoicing them.
Very professional bunch
DA You could learn from them lol

I sacked him on Christmas eve for spending too much time being overtly pleasant to too many contractorsOriginally posted by Mordac>I would give Ben Fleming at MSB a recomendation
He obviously hasn't been on the MSB "how to behave like a complete unprofessional **** course" yet then...

Cheers Mcquid for that, the agent so far has been brutally honest and upfront as well.
I dont know have I stumbled accross the haily grail of agencies? a bunch who are not total sheisters? I will be sorting out my contract today so lets see how that goes.

I know several of their agents in Edinburgh, and they are have so far been upfront with me, about both their technical knowledge of the clients requirements, the status of a role (financially approved etc), , which is quite a plus. I would stress that I have not yet worked through them, as I am in contract through another agency.
While on the subject of agencies, I would give Ben Fleming at MSB a recomendation from my dealings with him so far... credit where it's due after all. Returns calls, good liason with the client, a hiccup in the initial month due to undeclared 'enforced holiday' which was rectified by him, and MSB accounting. In terms of eBay feedback - would deal with him again.

A quick question, I have had a search around but cant find any information on this bunch. has anybody here ever worked for these guys? if so any +ve or -ve feedback?
So far I have been impressed by them placed CV with them yesterday got interview today and verball offer of contract today as well. However when things have gone this smooth there surely will be a hiccup. So looking for any gotchas you guys may have had with them.
