the name they trade under is "HAYS I.T. SERVICES LTD".

Gee, I thought these guys were a big company (they seem to have their grubby paws all over investment banking contracting)?

I wonder though what their next name will be (since it seems legal in this country to go in to insolvancy to avoid paying money owed to people and then to be able to create a new company to do the same thing as the old company)?

I think this might be a great opportunity to gain details of any clients they have on their books, invoke the agency going under/invalidating contract and going direct.

started a topic Agency in liquidation Company No. 01814727

Agency in liquidation Company No. 01814727

Should folk be responding to JS postings from a company listed as 'IN LIQUIDATION' by companies house?

    Company No. 01814727

Please tell me that they are not posting recently for contractors on JS. see below

Does everybody check Agencies out on:

    http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/

There are also a number of 'Agencies' who are not listed as:
    Nature of Business (SIC(03)):
    7450 - Labour recruitment

    but are listed as:
    7210 - Hardware consultancy
    7220 - Software consultancy & supply
    7250 - Maintenance office & computing machinery

Wouldnt it be true to say that such companies are effectively in competition with those they are attracting via postings?

Does anyone have an effective policy in dealing with these situations?

    thanks

    error
