I saw one in Queensland in the summer. I emailed, applied online, applied via their web site and phoned a number of times (always getting the answerphone despite it being office hours down there). It was my niche field and I saw them advertise it three times but they never even bothered to email me back. Just had a third tester poached from my team over 6 months for a better rate.
Agents tell me it is going to get worse with some large projects on the go in 2010. The downside for UK contractors - this is in Melbourne.
