IT4C (IT for communities) my experience

Tail end of last week figured I'd be unemployed for a couple more weeks so why not do some voluntary work. Went on it4c website, signed up and saw a couple of gigs to do in my local area. Last Thursday evening, emailed 2 of them. Friday heard nothing so rang 1 of them and was told secretary didn't work Fridays but she'd ring me on Monday. Yesterday got email late afternoon telling me that she'd read my CV and ring me back afterwards. So far no news. Seems like I can't give it away!
