In my experience on time delivery bonus' are far more productive than late delivery penalties.

When it boils down to it, they are exactly the same, but putting "deliver on time for an extra 5 k" into the contract seems to work better than saying "loose 5k for late delivery".

Late Delivery Terms

Does anyone have any late delivery terms or point me in the right direction for some? I'm having some code developed and want to have some recourse if the deadline is missed? I have the rest of the service agreement but it doesn't contain this element.
