re:development
create your own content and syndicate it ? Get a mention on the register or similar and you can get loads of traffic.
Contact the various mobile phone magazines which seem to have sprouted.
Get an affiliate deal with the mobile phone vendors (e2save.com have a range of options)
Add to the contact list RL above the phone vendors, nokia, panasonic, symbian etc.
set up mail lists / RSS feeds
contact PR depts for the uk networks and phone vendors and ask them for a statement about virus attacks on phones. (hint if neccessary that you have story from elsewhere about their vulnerability)
get hold of the supposed virus and try it - either on an old phone or one of the developers emulators, properly written up that should be worth reportage in the press as well
And finally, send me some beer vouchers for the advice. Which would be nice !

Guest repliedcontact McAfee, Semantic etc and tell them that "you own the only site on the entire Internet devoted to the subject of mobile phone viruses"
Tell them that they can submit their patches/news/etc on your site and that this will give them the best Internet visibility to their customers
Then once you ahve secured contracts with them, you can go to advertisers and show them the potential hits - should attract them and that's how you'll make your money?
(unless you can convince McAfee etc to pay to get their news on site but I doubt it)

Development?
I had an Idea for a website that seems to be starting to flourish. Mobile Phone Viruses are now becoming major news and are set to be a bigger problem than computer viruses. As today I own the only site on the entire Internet devoted to the subject of mobile phone viruses.
Allot of major companies are now getting involved in this including F-secure, MacAfee, and Semantic.
The problem is, I know this has Massive potential, I just don't know which way to take it.
