I recently applied for a role through them. It was really niche skills and I couldn't have been a better match for both technical skills and sector experience - I thought it was made for me. I didn't get an interview and the role has now been re-advertised with two other agencies.

My CV was re-written by the agent prior to application and I do feel screwed over, but I've re-applied again via the other two..my chances now are reduced however.

I know this is probably also related to current market conditions and competition, but Close Resource is on my "be wary and avoid list" from now on.

Never heard of them, I'm afraid, so one takes ones chances I guess.

On a related note - has anyone thought of risk-share experiences such as credit insurance or invoice discounting?
