Congratulations on your new gig at least someone has some positive news out there!!
Well, Abbey Tax came back with confirmation that the contract is IR35 compliant. There were a couple of things that I didn't like but can live with (No mention in the contract about working without supervision and I can't terminate the contract with them having a clause to terminate with 14 days notice). I can only hope things work out.

Schedule D. Well that means I can buy red pants to wear on the outside of my trousers in order to carry out my duties. Hmmm interesting.

Hope not. But with Windows 7 coming out this year, I would be surprised if RBS are seriously considering rolling out Vista.

Heh. Not sure if it was the same role as the one I got. I was interviewed for an IDS role. Don't know how I managed to get it though.

yep. 5 months on the bench, it's about time I got back into the swing of things.

3 months in Edinburgh.... can't complain, but can only hope the weather is ok.

    Possible Boom

Landed a role with RBS today. Am having the contract reviewed. Pays a pretty good rate. £2k a month more than my previous rate.

I may even take the contract even if it is not IR35 friendly, as I won't be worse off than my previous contract.

Working...
