ClientCo manager verbally told me that my contract is extending and he updated in internal systems as well (otherwise my account would be automatically disabled by now). However, i havnt got anything in writing from him.
But, i never ever had anything in written from ClientCo because (i reckon) thats what contracting is all about, all written stuff comes from pimps.

We have all been there if been around for a while, get something in writing from the client (from someone with required authority, aka not the office tea boy) forward it to agency (and to your external email) and tell them to confirm in writing if they agree (you are doing agents work for them..lazy buggers)
Some people are happy with just confirmation from client but this leaves you exposed as client has no requirement to pay you, agency does and you don't know what might be happening between agency and client, might be client has not paid them in a while and not processing extensions might be tactic to force client to pay up, so basically cover your ass
You don't need full contract in your hands first day of extension (though is nice warm fuzzy feeling to have it) but you do want written confirmation from agency that they agree to the extension

My contract is expiring this weekend but i have been told by clientCo manager couple of weeks ago that they extended my contract for 3months and he has updated internal systems. When i asked about written contract, he said it'll be sorted by clientCo HR and agency, but agency hasnt provided me anything yet.
When i emailed them they replied "we will contact our contact in ClientCo and will get back to you" but havnt got anything yet.
Now, what will be my position if i dont get written contract by tomorrow. Im doing clientCo tasks and everything going on quite normally here. Everyone thinks my contract is extended for 3 months.
