'Contract Extension'

I verbally accepted a contract extension 6 weeks prior to my end date.
Paperwork comes through 1 week before my contract ends with a 15% reduction.....needless to say i ame well pee'ed of......

question is are company liable to breech having offered me an extension to which I accepted on the same T&C's.
No reduction in rate was intimated at time of offer......

If you mean: can you claim compo for this breach, no.

If you mean: are you bound by your original acceptance, also no

try and find out from the client if there was a rate cut - this does sound like the agency is pulling a fast one.
