My friend is currently working on a contract where there has been a breakdown with the agency and the suppliers agency. My friends agency are going to terminate contract with the suppliers agency and subsequently his/her contract.
1. Does this mean that after his/her contract has been terminated by HIS/HER agency, he can go direct?
2.He/Her also opted out but this was 3 weeks after starting the contracting and working at the clients site (this was done by email, nothing signed) His/her contract has been renewed a couple of times. does this mean that he/she is opted in or out?

any advise would be appreciated
