As for the kettle and bogs question: a prickly pear indeed.
I always advise taking in your own thermos of hot water (company branded if possible) and teabags into the client site, and take along a plastic bag too. This way you can take a dump at the desk, and sling the plastic bag in the public bins outside the office.
Let those HMRC b******s catch you out on THAT one!
    a) I believe it is an offence to put biological waste into the normal rubbish system. (A crappy, ill-thought-out regulation.)

    b) Putting commercial waste into the domestic waste system can, I think, result in you being prosecuted by the council.

I am employed by my own ltd co and have no plans to make myself redundant in the near future. The client Co can not make "ME" redundant!

Invoke the cancellation clause in the contract yes but redundantcy no!

    Is this bad then?

So bad in fact that they seem to have lost my security clearance form and are not at all bothered when i asked about it.

Use this to your advantage for IR35 - subcontract taking the test to someone else that's there

Agreed, just do it, though I cannot help wondering whether the ultimate aim of this is so that someone can produce some PowerPoint slides.

The next burning question of course is: "Do you get to see what the agency staff score?"

If your not in financials, I'd try and steer clear unless there is a regulatory requirement.
I have to complete various regulatory stuff (telecoms) and the ocasional security quizz. My agent is obliged to audit each of their contractors to ensure complience, we normally send them certificate that is generated at the end of the quiz.
