Schedule of Events

Folks, what is the normal schedule of events for getting my first contract.

I am currently permie and want to understand what needs to happen e.g.

What I need to do if I want to accept an offer
Set up Ltd Co - should it be managed or other
Do I need an accountant
What is the position with IR35 - what does IR35 actually mean for me - both financially and contractually
What are the implications of employment or agency regulations
