I was offered 400 per day but I have gone back to them with 450 (which was my original asking price but the agent talked me down) cause it costs a fortune to get there.

£400 a day I offered several options including £400 a day if home based plus expenses for meetings but no go.

Milton Keynes is a long way south from my home and I'd have to participate in the Monday and Friday M1 horror story so it's simply not enough to attract me.

I live in central London and driving will be a pain.

I can't remember the name of the preferred Taxi firm off hand, but if you ask the agency to find out, I'm sure they will give you the details. I would probably recommend driving up to Hanslope Park, if you can.

Word of warning, you may have to go through DV clearance to get the job, if you don't already know. Also, you will have to put your Mobile phone in one of those pesky locker things.

Was once interviewed in MK.

The MD didn't sell MK to me at all....

I worked there for 3+ years for the FCO and it was a great contract - that was around 8 years ago.

The work was interesting, the people friendly, the canteen was ok :-).
I'd work there again anytime.

It is. The only way to get there from MKC Station is a taxi ride through b-roads!

Its easily been 10+ years since I was in there, so my opinion on whats its like is very likely worthless. Just wanted to check I had the right place, I saw the name and a faint bell went off in the back of my mind.
