Does the taxable component of any dividend payments that you paid to yourself show on your P45 (for a limited company) ?

I would think that this is the case, correct me if I am wrong.

If you received a dividend payment from say BT, or M&S (if either of them ever make a profit again!) as a shareholder, how the devil would it find its way onto your P45?

Dividends are not employment income and so do not appear on a P45. They just need to be declared on you tax return.
