Well Chester is not in the sticks - been offered a gig in Ellesmere Port ( sorry if that is not spelt correct) with an existing clinet - that rate was £30Opd but stayed were I was as the travelling would have been a bit much for me - 2 kids, 2 dogs and husband to look after.
However, wait until you see what your offered - if you are on 150pd at the moment - anything will be better. looking at roles towards Warrington/Manchester may pay better but depends if you can commute.
I still find it strange that there can be 2 roles, simular work only a few miles apart and pay 100-150 quid per day differrence.
good luck

Well... it's Chester / North Wales border.... few biggies there like Unilever and Moneysupermarket.

My BA rate is 300-350 per day in the Midlands ( yes - there are contractors in this neck of the woods) - I would'nt do it for anything less - unless you live in North Wales!

There £150 a day is probably good.

PS as a business analyst that rate seems pitiful (no offence) if I am honest.I am being shafted, hence the wish to move and respecialise.
The place I work for are looking to take me into this capacity analyst on the merit of my "eagerness to learn" - which may read as shafting me again - I need something to baseline it against realy.

Seriously though good luck with it although in North Wales I can't imagine it being particularly high.

I should be finding out what is being offered later today, but would be good to have a baseline for what the role would usually pay out.
I can't find any equivalent roles to speak of to compare it against?
It's a 6 month gig in North Wales.
