Chill out fellas, seeing few replies I thought atleast few of you ought to take that NG-BNP planted Core 2 duo chip off your shoulders before posting replies here.. or practice the art of ignorance and quietness to bring beauty to a public forum. If you still cant understand what I mean, Amen!

Thanks for all your appreciation - keep them coming, atleast its a friday and reminds me of Calvin & Hobbes; cant be bothered to improve my language skills or spell check

I heard a great story the other day about a non-native English speaker full of wit and satire and fantastic constructs. Unfortunately I can't re-call it now, it got lost in translation.

p.s. I am going to drop my shoulder later and have chips for tea.

Indeed, myself, in English construct a specialist regarded. I accept under-estimate as intended with appropriate mandate. I am of receiving Albedo with no internecine intent.

Oh yes, now coming back to the question

Yes, it is indeed possible to get one job or MANY jobs before entering to any country. From the job offer(s), you could apply for a visa( whatever be that in your case wrt UK) and I believe that would only strengthen your case of approval.
And my personal advice is, get that job offer in hand get the visa sorted and then come over. Last but not least, Welcome, and when you read other posts thats appears to be 'humourous' from their "smileys", keep the music louder and just scroll on !!
I keep reading it over and over and I still come to the conclusion of

The highly skilled migrant program (HSMP) and the new Tier 1 visa do not require employment before arriving in the UK. The HSMP provides a 2 year visa initially and the Tier 1 a 3 year visa, both are extendable. Both visas are granted based on a points based system comprising of age, education, personal income, and English language ability.

The HSMP is only closed for individuals within the UK and India I believe – you can still apply under the HSMP program from any other country. Within the UK and India the new Tier 1 applies.

First the bad news. There are very strict rules about visas, work permits and immigration to the UK that you must follow, and very severe penalties for not following them.

Now the good news. None of the above is enforced in any way whatsoever in the UK, so do as you please and don't worry about it!
