To answer your question directly - you are inside IR35 for all practical purposes.

Your tax status with parasol is "Employed" - so IR35 doesnt matter to you.
In effect you are an employee of Parasol which puts you inside IR35, but you are being paid in accordance with it, so it matters little to you individually. However, you can still tell clients who want you to work like a permie to get stuffed & use IR35 as the reasonLast edited by TheVoice; 16 June 2008, 16:01.

Confused about contract !
Hello ,
I have just started a four week contract and i have also decided to be paid via parasol. I joined parasol last week, i am bit confused about IR35 will be in or out ?
After reading lots of articles i am puzzled.
I haven't received any written contract as of yet from Badenoch and Clark or parasol .
How will i know if i am out of IR35 or in ?
