Does everyone bring their own equipment?? Best factor in the cost of hiring kit for the duration of the course too..
There are plenty of equipped rooms in central London for 3-4k. Been involved in this extensively.

I'm known in my field and have delivered a lot (hundreds) of commercial trainings in that.

I wouldn't want to train in that field though right now due to geese and golden eggs.

I'm thinking more of the firing out windows, ITIL, vmware, etc...

I think the key thing I need to get test out is sales. Ideally I want to get a reseller who is selling software anyway to sell my courses for a percentage. Not sure how hard that is to set up.

Would you be creating your own training material? Some trainers ‘lease’ training material from another firm (which is what my last consultancy did when I was last permie)

Would this lead to an exam, or accreditation of any kind?

Have you thought through who your target audience would be?

Consider the costs of the venue, lunches, and all of the effort for just the one day of training.

Unless you plan to do this on a regular basis? If so, would there be enough work to make this full time? If just a day a month or two, would clients be happy for a day a month out of contract?

Are you a known name in your field? If not, then may be very hard to get the interest if no ‘brand’ image to sell, as such.

    Should be high margin.

    Cost per seat - 1500
    - 300 commission per sale
    - 150-200 random discount

    1000 per seat

Training suite hire in central London - 3-4 grand for four days

Hopefully break even with 4 sales.

Can't see why not.. Word of advice: Beware the costs of running said course, as they can rack up..
