I have worked with them. They pay monthly, within two to four weeks of the invoice.

However, the contract they used contained the infamous clause to the effect that they can cancel the contract with immediate effect for no reason other than their client cancels with them, with no proof of anything required. The contract did contain two of these clauses - they would only remove one.

When I cancelled with four weeks' notice, they cancelled with no notice.

I will never use them again - there are plenty more agencies, and JCL BS (emphasis on final letters) never seem to have anything others don't.

The main thing i would like to know is if any contractor in this forum has had any payment problems with agency JCL Burns in the past. But the impression i'm getting is that they are not a big agency so not many contractors would have used them. I might be wrong tough.

There's a world of difference between what an agency will tell you over the phone and the real world expereince that contractors have of it though.

How often do they pay: weekly or monthly ? And do they pay on time ? Do they hustle for references or personal information ? Are their contracts fair ?
