Currently, foreigners are not permitted to set up a Ltd (SRL in the local lingo) company in Romania. Wizz air do cheap runs between Bucharest and Luton. HTH.

Are you planning on commuting back home on a regular basis. If so, contract through your own Ltd co - presumably agency is in UK. If you are going to stay in Romania I'd guess you'd need some sort of Romanian company set up.
J1MT,
Thanks. I am planning to commute back on a regular basis. Having contracted in Holland for the last 14 months and found barriers to setting up your own company in the Netherlands, was wondering if any such barriers existed in Romania OR if it would be more beneficial to set up a Romanian company from a tax perspective??
