    They are indeed different so the income shifting legislation has no bearing on the need for a CoSec.

    However, those of you that are thinking of dropping their CoSec or setting up without one. There are knock on effects at the moment as the world catches up with legislation.

    e.g Royal Mail need 2 signatures for a business redirection if it's a Ltd company. That's 2 directors or 1 director and 1 CoSec. There is no way round this 'cos they're a bit backward.

    They don't understand the difference between Sole Trader and single director Ltd co.

    Do keep up.

    The proposed income shifting legislation is different from the Companies Act. The Companies Act is already on the statute books.

    I suggest you google both bits of legislation and read up on what you find. It's not difficult you know........
