How do I stand from a IR35 point of view.

The IB i'm in want me to complete their mandatory compliance training.

Would this have any effect on my status as a non employee of the IB?

Only generic training that you would need to support all your business activities would work against you. For a bespoke training that is particular to the organisation and role, and making it impossible to add the value you otherwise would do without it, it wouldn't matter.
