    Homeshoring is when indian software companies use the intra company transfer loophole (wipro india to wipro UK) to ship cheap developers from home to the UK.

    Yes, unfortunately DodgyAgent, my job went to Dubai 4 years ago, and they manned the Global Service desk with cheap labour from Mumbai. Heard that it was all coming back - now homeshoring ?? Does anyone know ?

    I can't speak for your field of work, but I know that offsite work through agencies in my field of work is very difficult to get. I've had considerably more success in getting the client to agree offsite work where I'm dealing directly with them, rather than through an agency.
