First timer, I need to know what rate to charge?
Hi All,
I'm a J2EE web dev with 5 years experience, now i want to start contracting.
But i have no idea what to charge by the day or by the hour.
I have looked at what rates are advertised but i think sometimes they are inflated just to attract attention. And looked at averages on sites like cwjobs and am unsure about them also.
So what i really want is to hear what real contractors charge in the current market i) per day and ii) per hour ?
thanks
