I work for my UK ltd in Norway I'm never overseas long enough to have tax obligations even a return flight to the UK resets the clock. I know in Norway ou have to spend 3 months in the country before paying local taxes, I don't know if Germany is the same.

Don't see a huge problem here
You are not out of the country for more than 183 days, and will remain tax resident in the UK, so carry on paying UK taxes
Expenses are legit, so no problem
Enjoy yourself in Germany

the way i've always understood this is to think of this as a permie would; if your boss sent you somewhere else, you'd be claiming expenses from your employer. as a contractor, you claim it from your company. (and your company claims it on tax)
if you're getting paid into the UK, by a UK company, then (i think) the income is treated as if you were working in the UK.
WARNING: am most definately _NOT_ an accountant! (so go have a chat w/ one and enjoy the gig!)

Contracting in UK-- Working @ Client site overseas
Hello guys! I have a question
I am an employee of my parents Ltd company
I am working for a big blue chip company via an agency here in UK
I was working onsite in uk, but now the client has asked me to join there site in Germany for 3-4 months, and travel to different sites around Europe.
My question-- Am i liable for tax abroad? Am i seen as an overseas worker? I am getting paid flight/hotel expenses from client, which i am claiming through Ltd company... so im confused whether i am operating legite. i think i am. Agency hasnt said anything apart from congratulating me on progressing forward.
Any advice please?Tags: None
