    Don't expect to make a decent living bidding for projects on the freelance websites - project prices have hit rock bottom since our offshoring friends joined the fray.

    If you want to make a decent living from freelancing, and you're not keen on contracting through agencies, get a list of local companies and get on the phone, just like a real business would have to.
