suggest that you have a look on ITjobswatch.com and search under project manager to get a sense of what the market's doing at the moment.
there is a market for general project managers, but most clients are looking for project managers with specific sector/technology experience. So, you may be better off spinning your CV to target a specific type of project.

I've dealt with CPS Resourcing in the past - if you Google them they are easy to find. As recruiters the specialise in PM's for contract and permies. Not dealt with them for a couple of years though.

Project/programme management is my back-up skill but I only work in the health sector. It may be worth considering looking for PM jobs mainly in the sector you are familiar with, if that is practical. What sector is it?

General Project Manager Skills
Hi,
I am looking to return to contracting after 5 years perm for one of Londons biggest public sector companies. For most of the last 5 years I have been doing project management on mainly non technical system changes.
Is there much market for non technical/generalist project managers? I have the Assoc of Proj Man Professionals qualification (APMP) which might help.
Also, can anyone recommend any particuarly good agencies for PM? I havent had too much success so far, I am wondering if there are any good places for reviewing CVs that offer practical advice in my area rather than comment on font size etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
