Is this serious or just fishing for leads...?
Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster...
Applied for a testing gig at an IB, received a mail this morning from the agent
Hi , thanks for your cv for the testing contract. We’ve had an overwhelming response as it’s a great opp to move into the Investment Banking sector with no prior business exp. As part of our due diligence process and to shortlist your application to the next stage, we have been asked for 2 testing references, ideally the name and email id of your last test manager or Director. This information will be treated in confidence until such time as we are able to find you a new position. Please send this info asap so we can process your application to the next stage.
Kind regards
Ben
Is this just an agent fishing for leads? Or is it normal for an IB role?Tags: None
