I've been using Julian Hodge Bank Capital Millennium Bonds for about 5 years now. They allow businesses to invest in these. Currently paying 6.25% AER.

Only problem with the Cater Allen ones is that you have to do all the paperwork again - you can't just apply through the online banking or over the phone.

For business or personal? HSBC do 3-, 6- and 12-month bonds with a much lower minimum. I use them a lot.

started a topic Best rate on Fixed Term Deposit account?

Best rate on Fixed Term Deposit account?

Does anyone use Fixed Term Deposit accounts to invest money they have sitting in the bank? (These seem to be much better than your standard savings account) Any recommendation on who offers the most competitive rates?

Cater Allen display their (indicative) rates on their website and they look quite good, but most banks don't as they can change intraday.

I can't be bothered to phone up every bank around, so I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a bank with good rates. I'm after a bank that will take deposits of 50K (I know some specify 100k min)
