Dude,
He probably called you by your first name, because to address you as "69" might have seemed even more overfamiliar.

I had a series of calls from them about 3 years ago, and initially I was open-minded but very busy - so I said I'd look at their material and get back to them. 3 months later, about 6-7 calls later from them chasing me, and I told them to **** off.
At least they did stop calling, that was good!

Sunday Solutions - nasty cold calling scum
Just got a cold call from these muppets. Usual idiots. The salesman presumed to addressed me by first name terms, don't know why, I'm no friend of his.
"Blah blah, I'm calling from Sunday Solutions, a specialist Wealth Management blah blah for IT contractors, I understand you are one"
Me: "Where did you get my details from?"
Him: "One of your colleagues might have passed your details on as a recommendation"
Me: "Not a chance, none of my colleagues have this number."
Him: Repeats same bs about personal recommendation
Me: "If you are not going to be honest about where you got my details from I am going to end this call now".
Idiots.
Not really sure how they got my info. My CV is online from several years ago, but I wasn't a contractor then, and my current contractor role I got through personal arrangement (no employment agents involved). I have had various calls from various recruitment consultants offering me permanent jobs and I have informed them verbally that I am now contracting.
I can only guess that one of the scummy recruiters has marked me on his database as a contractor, and then they have sold the database (I assume this is illegal) to this company.
I would never buy anything sold over the phone like this, least of all "wealth management", but evidently there are plenty of mugs out there less cynical than I.
Anyway, just to reiterate cold-calling unethical spammers suck, and therefore Sunday Solutions SUCKS, and SHOULD BE AVOIDED.Tags: None
