the client they have for me is a big name, this makes me feel a little easier, maybe, i'll make sure everything is in writing and signed before i do anything.

Never dealt with them but I don't like this bit on their website:

"We at PAR believe that the Technical, Functional and Management specialists we place, or call upon for project work are as much our customers, as our clients are."

-I'm a contractor. I supply them with a service and they pay me for that service. Surely that makes them my customer!

Anyone know this agent?

So I'm about to make my first move into contracting, I've been contacted by a company called PAR consulting....(http://www.parconsulting.co.uk/Default.aspx).

They are not a member, as far as I can tell, of REC, does this matter?

I will ensure anything I get from them is in writing of course.

Has anyone heard of them or used them before, any help or advice would be appreciated.
