Companies always always want to know one's visa and authority
to work in the USA. I thought at least a few would pay cash
without delving too deeply. Maybe in McDonalds, but not IT
    departments apparently.
I have had an H1 visa before. It was bad, in that it tied me
(like a slave) to one company for 7 years, then I could apply
    for a green card.

Its a shame because UK is just too small for me.

    Wish I could do this:

I'd say it would be harder becuase to get a good saily £ rate your $ rate is going to be a lot higher than other people.

    started a topic USA contracting

    USA contracting

As fart as I can see its nearly impossible
to do shortish contracts in the USA,
because one needs a sponsor in the USA
    - its all very complicated to get a visa.

It should be possible to simply invoice
US companies from my UK company?
But I have not found anyone to do it yet.

Any input here from you would be cool.
