Is it client or client site that has the 2 year limit?

I always thought it was the site so you could contract for the same client for longer than 2 years and claim full travel/accommodation expenses as long as it wasn't at the same site for over 2 years.

My last contract was for 2 and half years, same client, but different sites. Claimed full expenses as incurred. Oh well, if they investigate me and want some of my expenses back only myself to blame if I've got it wrong.

As long as they are geographically distinct then moving to a new site with the same client will restart the clock.

At the point when you know you will be on a client site for a period that exceeds 24 months that site becomes your NORMAL PLACE OF WORK - much the same as if you are a permanent member of staff.

You can't therefore claim milage, subsitance etc.

Trying to find out some definite/concrete info on contracting with the same end-client longer than 2 years.

When with Giant they prevent you from submitting expenses if you have been with an end-client for longer than 2 years. Does anybody know why?

I have recently left Giant (surprisingly) and was wondering if I should continue to submit expenses under my Ltd company etc as it looks like I will be in my contract for +2 years.

Also, that's the only 'implications' I am aware of when being in a contract with the same end-client for +2years, is there anything else I should be considering etc?
