I've just left JSA (Chorus) for my own Ltd.
Fees were relatively high. Customer Service was good so long as your question required a standard answer, but as soon as you required some thought to be put in the shortcomings were obvious. And staff turnover was always high, with any mistakes being blamed on the person who had just left, and new staff always saying they did not know the answer rather than referring you to someone who did.
Just settled a long-running debate over the inaccuracies of their accounting - a debate which I won by proving their figures wrong, even though I'm not an accountant.
That said, their IFA side has always been very very good!
Follow the lead of most of the folk on here and go with one of the recommended accountants. I'm with Nixon Williams for £60+VAT per month, and their service has been excellent so far

There are (very) poor accountants and there are good accountants.
There is no correlation between these two groups whatsoever.

Very true, but I hear http://www.uptonaccountants.com/ is good and their basic IT Contractor package is only £55 per month plus VAT...

JSA Ltd Services
There doesn't seem to be much about JSA on this forum. Does anybody use their LTD accounting services?

Comes with quite a bit of insurance too.
