One thing to be careful about is what happens if they terminate the contract early for whatever reason. I used to work in a theme park where at the end of the season, you got paid a bonus equivalent to 30p for every hour you'd worked (bringing my salary up to a princely £1.98 an hour!). Towards the end of the season, it was incredibly common for management to go looking for people to fire, so that they didn't have to pay the bonus.

I was contracting at an investment way back in 96-97 where they gave a bonus (10-15% ISTR) every 3 months if you met all your deliverables. This was in addition to reasonable rates. Never came across it again.

Interesting Concept
In conversation with my client about renewing. They have offered a loyalty bonus payable on me seeing out the full term of the renewal. This is on top of a small increase on my daily rate. Anyone had this before?
It's a new one on me...
